Le Petit Soldat is a Mexican independent film production company with a wide international reach dedicated to the generation of high-quality content. Symbolism generates the company’s identity from its name to stationery design and sets the analogy with the great battles in the cinema industry.
It seems like this rubric turns into the club of cinema-lovers, as the last time we reviewed the app, alluding to some other famous masterpiece. Sorry, but without such sprinkles of references the main concept just can’t be fully-appreciated (it’s like seeing only the tip of the iceberg). Rolling up my sleeves and presenting you Le Petit Soldat.
First off, to be 100% frank, after seeing the logo for the first time, I confused it with elvish runes. Only after a little while of reading the project description and digging up some referential info, I got it. And it turned out to be absolutely brilliant!
Serious tones of the identity are mixed with a slight disorder and rebellious touch by choosing the black ribbon for the texts. The palette with mostly black and reserved white tones is a bold solution, highlighting the LPS monogram. What can I say, the image of fight per se incites not only artists, director and poets to create glorious artworks, but also creative studios to carry out stationery designs, for instance!
