Have you noticed this mass hysteria about the shadow stationery mockups? Oh, I have! Once October November, William Hansen or Pixelbuddha have released these templates, they keep holding high positions on design marketplaces and bring freshness to everyday projects.
There can be many reasons for such a splash of success: from genuine elegance and simplicity to functionality. You know, these mockup templates make me think of fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Baazar — due to the projects they are used for or their expensive look.

I’ve got so motivated that have released my own collection of shadow stationery mockups — filled with my vision and aesthetics. And here has come an understanding that they are not impossible. That they don’t come from the outer space, crafted by some inhuman beings. That you, a designer, don’t have to be utterly experienced to nail these templates to create something unique of your own.
Besides, I find it essential for a creative to be able to craft some design resources themselves. That’s right, the niche marketplaces are already full-packed with anything you may wish. Seriously, figure out a funny request, and I assure you will find it in a sec! However, since the personality matters so much today and always, it’s good to craft custom stuff. That’s how you can stand out!
Getting back to the tutorial, I assure you that it will be as essential as simple. With such boosters like Unsplash, bold enthusiasm and unicorn magic (delivered with every item I make up) it’ll be easy-peasy.
Just don’t cut corners and open Photoshop.
